A 24 Hour Barber for Los Angeles Hours
Late flights, night shoots and early call times do not wait for shop hours, so Ben Zweifel keeps his phone on and his clippers ready around the clock.
Los Angeles runs on odd hours. A redeye lands at LAX after midnight, a shoot in Hollywood wraps at three, a meeting in Century City moves up to seven in the morning. A 24 hour barber is the only kind that fits those days, and Ben Zweifel has built Ben The Barber 101 to answer at any hour, every day of the week, holidays included.
Working nights does not mean working loose. Ben is licensed in barbering and cosmetology in multiple states and has more than seventeen years of experience, including four barbershops of his own. A two in the morning fade gets the same blend and the same clean neckline as one at noon. He sets up quietly, works with focus and respects that the rest of the house may be asleep.
Midnight is just another appointment.
Clients who keep these schedules tend to be musicians, athletes, crews and executives, and his roster reflects it, with names such as Lil Baby, Rod Wave and Lamar Odom. What they share is little patience for delay. Ben is known for moving with urgency, arriving when he says he will and finishing in time for whatever comes next on the itinerary.
Pricing follows the clock. Haircuts start at $150, and the standard rate within regular hours of 11am to 7pm is $300. Appointments outside that window, and those requiring longer drives to places like Malibu or Palmdale, are priced accordingly. There is no booking app to wrestle with at midnight. Call or text 608-201-7717 at any hour and Ben will confirm a time.
