Opened in 2021 on the former site of the House of Blues, Pendry pairs a 149-room hotel with private residences. Amenities include a rooftop pool, a screening room, a bowling alley and restaurants by Wolfgang Puck. Its members' club, Bird Streets Club, shares the building.

Musicians and creatives in town for shows and sessions use the hotel as a base, and an in-suite cut keeps them ready for stage, studio or camera. He arrives with a complete kit, sets a clean station near the best light in the room, and leaves the space as he found it.

His résumé is unusual for a house-call barber: more than seventeen years of cutting, licenses in barbering and cosmetology in several states, four shops owned, and years of travel with touring artists. Fades, tapers, waves, edges and beards are the core of what he does, and he is equally at home with a slicked side part, a textured crop or a fresh set of waves.
